![]() Not saying he will be the next big-name PPR back, but he should contribute on Day 1. To get a potential PPR machine here feels like a screaming steal. Hull does a ton well and knows how to weave through traffic. He’s got good speed and agility and is quite possibly the second-best receiving back in this draft class. Gray will be a must-add rookie prospect in the third round of drafts. He had a breakout senior season with over 1300 yards and showed value as a pass catcher. Gray thrived in every situation he was in at the college level. He reminds me a lot of Tony Pollard and how his talent can be used all over the field. Eric Gray is one of my favorite sleeper running backs in this class. What an absolute steal in the fourth round of this rookie mock. Parker didn’t like up to their standards at PSU, but there could certainly be a whole lot of untapped potential. Washington has an excellent pedigree and comes from a program that has recently produced players like Allen Robinson, Chris Godwin, and Jahan Dotson. It’s all about upside this late in a rookie draft. – 4.07 Parker Washington, WR, 5’10” 205 Penn State Between his fantastic record in college and a much more interesting tape, than I expected, I am willing to take a flyer on him. I expected average workout tape, but Bennett looked like he belonged with every other quarterback in Indy. And what better shot than a guy who led his team to two National Titles? Stetson Bennett doesn’t jump off the page physically, but what he has been able to do is win. Taking the correct angle AND preventing the score is HARD! /aBem04bVfd- BOLTS Draft Talk April 20, 2023Īs we get to the back half of the final round of this draft, I am going to take a Hail Mary shot at quarterback. Williams has to chase down McConkey at full speed. Stetson Bennett rolls away from him & hits Ladd McConkey. – 4.06 Stetson Bennett, QB, 5’11” 192 Georgiaīennett Williams is the back side safety here. There aren’t any other appealing options in this range, so I like taking a shot on a tight end near the end of the draft. Kuntz could be a good passing catcher if he pans out. Kuntz was never a great prospect but showed out at the combine posting a perfect 10 Raw Athletic Score. In the fourth round, I’m taking a shot on a tight end, Zack Kuntz. – 4.05 Zack Kuntz, TE, 6’6″ 255 Old Dominion I’ll take a shot on McIntosh and hope his receiving ability will earn him some opportunities at some point in his career. You have to take a shot on guys that might have value. The level of competition and being a body catcher are the biggest concern – but he’s a fun late rookie draft dart throw. He’s got quick feet, easily wins jump balls, and is a dangerously fluid runner after the catch. He ran a 4.43 40-yard and impressed in many events, even wowing at the Senior Bowl. In a draft full of small receivers, a big receiver from Princeton is worth a dart throw in the fourth round after an impressive offseason. – 4.03 Andrei Iosivas, WR, 6’3″ 205 Princeton If he weren’t 23 years old, people would likely be much higher on him, and he’s a fine dart throw in the fourth round. He’s a little undersized, as are many others in this class. He’s tough at the catch point and dangerous after the catch. A tough run of luck, BUT he’s an exciting player with good burst and excellent separation skills. And he returned for a fifth year in college only to be hurt for most of the season. Jayden Reed had to sit out a year right before the transfer rule changed. Where do you rank Jayden Reed in this class? /MZamln5Rja- Nick Penticoff April 18, 2023 – 4.02 Jayden Reed, WR, 1’11” 187 Michigan State If he can land in the right NFL situation and rediscover the talent that initially put him on radars, Boutte could be a tremendous bargain at his current price point. ![]() And yet, despite all of the negatives, Boutte still flashes on tape with route running skills befitting his prestigious Tiger pedigree. Once considered among the cream of the 2023 crop, an unimpressive rebound from ankle surgery matched with lackluster athletic scores have relegated this once-promising star to fourth-round purgatory. The pre-draft evaluation period has marked a precipitous fall from grace for LSU wideout Kayshon Boutte. Superflex Rookie Mock Draft 8.0 – Round 4 4.01 Kayshon Boutte, WR, 5’11” 195 LSU This is the deepest we have went and there are some gems in here. We made it!! Round 4 is here and we are just hours away from Round 1 of the NFL Draft.
